USMLE percentile ranking

I understand that the USMLE score reports no longer show your percentile ranking. Is that true? How do you interpret your score if you don't understand how it fits into the larger pool of test takers? Is there a standardized percentile conversion now?

They give you the mean and standard deviation. Assuming a normal distribution (which it is not) you can figure out a general idea of your percnentile.
