USMLE pulmonary embolism CTA vs V/Q

In 2010 on USMLE exams, for diagnosis of PE is spiral CT (CTA) better than V/Q scan unless contrast allergy or renal failure or is V/Q scan still the board answer despite PIOPED II trial?
