I apologize if this kind of questions has been asked million times already. Please point me to the right place.

My wife is planning to study for Step 1. With a baby, it is very difficult for her to find enough to study. Her sister studied avg. 8 hours and it paid off. But my wife doesn't have that much to study everyday.

What would be the most effective way to study for Step1? She is thinking about starting with Kaplan materials (books) that she got from her sister. But I wonder if some of the audio review stuff can be of some help too.

Practically speaking, she can probably study 3 to 4 hours a day. We are trying to find ways so that she can study more. But I want her to get into the flow of studying however slow it might be.

Thanks in advance. I would very much appreciate some comments on effective way to prepare for USMLE step1.

Have a great day.
Shahab
