usmlerx difficulty

Yea it's a bit hard, but so will be the step.. The test is a beast and I'd rather have my butt handed to me on practice questions so I can learn than have a bunch of easy questions taht don't reflect the exam

Both?

The advice I've seen: Rx is great and everyone should do it. Kaplan has some obscure questions but so does the exam.

I'm using Rx to learn and get used to the question-style/material. Kaplan to do the same. UWorld to really learn the material.

I got worked over on some biochem today. But, it is also showing the level of detail I need to get. So, I like it so far. I definitely think it is going to help me get more out of my second pass of FA. I keep it on medium/hard. I do think some of it is too picky maybe. Straight recall of some obscure facts. But, overall good. And, I am referencing USMLE Rx.

Does anyone else think this question bank is difficult?

I think its a great qbank. I used it as a first qbank. A lot of what I got wrong was material nto covered in FA so if you already are weak on FA material you'll get beasted just because of the extra stuff. Mind you i think all of it is testable. Whats great is the question presentation- so that after seeing it you will never forget the clinical presentation for how R-L or L-R heart diseases present or presentations for alzheimers or huntingtons etc. They may not require as much conceptualization- but the clinical presentation is spot on.

After doing rx I did UWorl dand my average was around 85%. I'm going to start Kaplan soon after I'm done reviewing both qbanks again.
