How accurate is the score estimator on USMLErx? Has anybody correlated their predicted score with predicted scores from kaplan/uworld/nmbe/actual exam? I ask because I am currently being told I have a ~230, but I think that seems high considering how many questions I have no idea about. I haven't purchased any NMBE or UWorld yet, but I plan on it after classes end on may 28th (taking exam last week of June).

It seems that a lot of people have asked about this on previous threads, but it has never really been resolved.

Thanks.

I have no experience with linking Rx scores with Step scores, but based on how they treat repeat question, I'd say it only has a prayer of being right if you've only used new questions for each test. For those of you who don't know, Rx only considers your most recent answer to a question when calculating your percentage correct. In other words, you could take a test composed entirely of questions you missed the first time around, nail them, and have your overall percentage skyrocket due to the program thinking you got them all right *both* times.

thanks for the quick reply. I decided to only use unused questions until I finish them up.
