UsmleWorld or UsmleRX?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't know how your school can "make" you take USMLERx. Regardless; if you have 120 bucks and a web connection, you can sign-up for USMLEWorld, and your school can't do anything about it.

I used both KAPLAN and USMLEWorld. USMLEWorld is FAR superior.

Theres a program they offer, after hours USMLE prep, and that requires USMLE rx...I guess technically its not officially taught by our school so its not my school the requires it.

K thanks for your post!

I used Kaplan Q-bank and thought it was great! The questions were exactly what the exam was testing. USMLEWorld had questions that were way beyond the scope of Step 1. Kaplan had really good explanations too, which helped build my fund of knowledge in areas that I was weak in. I would recommend Kaplan to anyone studying for Step 1. I'll be using it for Step 2 too, especially after I found out my score on Step 1 !!!

i recently bought usmleRx..it has first aid incorporated into it..thats what makes it so great! u can save time actually opening up first aid and instead have the page open up right in front of u as u answer the questions..butt im not sure if the difficulty level is equal to usmle world..does anyone know? I want the best prep ever..if usmlerx is close to the difficulty level of usmleworld..then i would rather stick to usmlerx..since it has an additional feature..that being first aid!
