Does anyone know what's the lowest GPA USN will accept?
Can you also share your GPA when you got in? I'm worried.
😕
Thanks!!!

if i remember correctly, the minimum gpa considered is 2.8

but you hardly hear any such acceptances under 3.6! even a close friend of mine had 3.7 and was rejected while the other one who is no different than her had a 4.0 prereq and got in!

Aww... I should have read this before paying $150. Maybe I might be lucky. I had 3.6 prereq right at the minimum. But overall GPA is only 3.5.

Ahh! don't worry, I had a 3.59 last year and got an interview. However, i didn't do very well in the interview.

Everyone who interviews with USN has a possibility of being accepted. It has to do with the way the tally the points.

Do you have any advice about the interview section? I've read the interview forum for USN, but I'm not really sure on what to prepare for.

How would we prepare for the medication questions. I've volunteered at a pharmacy, but I don't have a lot of experience with the Rx. Should I know pharmacy laws going into the interview?..like under what circumstances can I refill/dispense presciption drugs for a patient.
Sorry...I am very new at this.

My husband interviewed there last year (and didn't get in). He had a 3.81 GPA, but the interview went awry. They asked what he considered to be a controversial topic in pharmacy today, and he answered with pharmacists writing orders in a collaborative effort with MD's, which is not "controversial." There is bickering between the two camps when something is being hammered out, but there are many collaborative practices that go on without a hitch and benefit the patient greatly.

What they were looking for was more of the Plan B refusal to fill situation.

So yes, you should know laws, and bylines of your state (or even Nevada) as well as general current topics of discussion in pharmacy.
