Hey.. Excited? That's just the beginning of it. I've wanted to go to UT-Houston for so long and after this long and drawn out process it's finally all over with. One of my friends from undergrad is going to UT-Houston as well, so I already see the beginning of a great class. See everyone there.

Getting my work on. The real world is a cold cruel place. But, on the bright side, I work near UT-H and am considering going over there later in the week or next week to gather some additional info. What info? Not really sure. But info nonetheless.

Part of me saw all the excitement the UTSW people were creating and I feel like maybe that would have been a better choice. I need you guys to help excite me about the school!!!

It was my first, but it was a last second decision between this and SW. I'm starting to feel the excitement here, but gimme more people!!!

Unfortunately I'm at work today as well. UT-Houston was definately my top choice. It was a toss up for a while between Houston and San Antonio, but in the end I realized that there was so much more to love in Houston. I'll check back on the forum later tonight after work. Congrats again to all of us. This is just one more step towards acheiving our dreams.

I picked UTSW first, but I live in Dallas and could have mooched off of my parents better there.

We are going to have a rockin' time in Houston. I can't wait to get an apartment picked out and all. This is going to be truly fantastic. The medical district in Houston is unique and huge and we are all going to find our niche there. They have every specialty you could think of and many you may not even know about even if you work in the medical field already.

Here's to taking the "wham bam tram" to school!

That's no lie Emily. Classes over the internet, awesome student body, the Texas Medical Center, being close to friends and family... perfect. I can't wait to meet everyone. We should have a meet up for all of us to celebrate and get ready for 4 great years together. I'm not from Houston so I'm not sure on any good places.

No work today! I knew a couple weeks ago that I would need this day off - either to start making plans or to formulate a convincing reason as to why I didn't match (they lost my application?).

I'm positively elated I matched with my number 1. My selling points for UT-Houston: TMC, nice area surrounding school, not an overly competetive student body, TMC, attractive hospitals, good amount of PBL, thorough curriculum, streaming videos, new cadaver room and the TMC.

Can't wait til I get my acceptance letter. Congratulations everyone!!!!!!!!! Y'all have definitely earned it.

Hey guys! I also matched at UT-Houston. It was my third choice but I am still very excited about it. I was so worried that I wouldn't match, LOL. A little about me, I go to Univ. of Houston (GO COOGS!) but my state of legal residence is Nevada, so I'll probably be the only out-of-stater in the class. Anyways, you guys seem like a great group and I'm very happy to be a part of it!
