Hey guys and gals. I'm wondering if now that lists have all been submitted if anyone would feel comfortable sharing any info they learned on the interview trail regarding ut murfreesboro. This is the first year they're accepting apps so info is basically limited to their website. So...anything anybody could fill in would be awesome. Thanks!

From a friend that interviewed there: seems to be well organized, not research heavy, free roush review and a few other EM apps. PD well known with previous experience. The shifts are ten hours but the final hour is based on the fast track side seeing lower acuity patients to help make sure you get off on time as well as to wrap up your higher acuity ones in the main ED. 5 icu months based in St. Rutherford or surrounding hospitals, one month of trauma in Memphis(apartment provided)

Fair enough. I don't really have any super specific questions...which I guess leads to a bad thread lol. I was just looking for people's experience firsthand there and an idea of the general feel of the program...which I know will be different for everyone. I guess as a third year trying to make sense of all this vsas eras nrmp alphabet soup I feel like any info from those ahead of me is valuable.

Thanks for the reply! The last hour in the fast track seems like a cool idea. Did your friend feel like with vandy so near that they lose out on any pathology that gets shipped over there?

Any new work the last hr is not ideal in my opinion... Its hard enough wrapping crap up in an hour let alone seeing bs and potentially serious cases.
