It the time for UTHSCSA application, any one who is applying this cycle? I sent my application and received an application complete email today..If there is anyone who has applied, interviewed or got accepted last year or earlier please help with some tips..Thanks

dentist 86 when did you actually post the documents and within how many days did you get the application complete mail... i am planing to apply this week. as this university is non-caapid, i wonder about the no. of applicants. But heard that this college calls the cream of the batch. all the best to you.🙂
I mailed my application on the 1st of this month, they received it on the 4th and they sent me the application complete email on the 7th.. Thank you best of luck to u as well.
As far as I know, they have rolling admissions with interviews in batches starting from mid - late October. They start calling for interviews in early oct.
About bench test I think it is crown preps and class 2, although I am not very sure.

Thanks fellow, it seems that very few people have applied to UTHSCSA are in sdn and fewer who know some info about the IV's, I have been searching for some info and did not know much about it. wish you best of luck 👍

How did you send your transcripts??can we send a sealed copy or it should be directly from the college.Can you please clear this??
I sent a sealed copy and they accepted it.
I sent a sealed copy by myself, and I received an application complete email.. you should be fine.

Hope you doing good. I want to apply to UTHSCSA but I am having difficulty in understanding how to write the personal statemnet. They said it should be either hand written or by a type writer. I want to know the way you guys have done it. Is there anyway to write it in that box and thn print it. Its hard to find a type writer.

u can take out the printout of that 4th sheet of applicatn package and write in word document with customized margins measuring that of applctn sheet and den put the application 4th page into the printer n u will get the word doc into the space..its more convenient n wat they accept...🙂 all da best

hey can we send the sealed copies of toefl and nbde that we order for ourselves(the additional score reports) in the same envelope as the rest of the documents like sop etc to uthsca or do they have to be sent from ada / ets only?

UTHSCSA has already started interviewing applicants. 2 weeks now I think. Not sure...just see applicants between classes sometimes.
well. i doubt it, as i kald the office of admissions yest and they said they avent yet. they still are receiving the applications and will take time to send out the ivs. please dont put up such things.. its a pressure time for all the applicants and seeing things like this wil make people more nervous. no worries, just be sure before posting anything
I think you would have seen the regular DDS applicants and not the IDEP applicants...
They have to sealed, in their original form, UTHSCSA does NOT accept any copies/notarized copies of the documents... so i suggest you send them sealed originals.

one batch will interview next week... then two more will be called...for which interviews invitations will be sent soon I guess.
UTHSCSA has already invited people for the first 2 batches:18-19 Oct and 25-26 Oct.
I have heard that they usually call 4-5 batches.

hi everyone..i have a very basic question for all of u out there...how do i prepare for interviews and bench test?? not that i have got any calls...just trying to be prepared so that i dont feel like a lost soul in the end..i know ppl here knw a lot of stuff..plz let me knw what all should i have ready to prepare for bench test..burs, tooth (do we have to buy own stuff for the tests) gosh im so clueless!!
When I called, I was told that the first batch will be on 18-19th, and I know people who have received calls for 25-26th too.
Does anyone know if they have finish sending out interview invitation for all those who submitted for priority? I application was finished near the end of september so im hoping thats why i havent received an interview. I have already received an interview invitation for texas tech.
