I got a phone call from them on 29th oct, application complete mail on 24th september and I sent out my application on 11th september. They havent sent interviews for dec as far as i know. Good luck guys!

Yes sure...I have a gpa of 4.0...and I have observer ship experience in USA...nothing too special tho and no research projects so far...
 
Does anyone know that if they are giving Iv to those who applied in oct so tere is no chance for Iv who applied in august bcoz they are following strictly rolling basis Iv? My states are also similar to those who got Iv but still waiting for the Iv.
 
I have almost a similar Q to ask..
Doing shadowing/volunteering/masters program is not a big deal anymore as most of the applicants have this kind of a resume..then what is the selection criteria for an IV call amongst such applicants??

Hey sorry I will actually be coming with my family so sharing accommodation wont be a possibility 🙁 I am sorry if their plan changes I will let you know for sure. Im a girl too 🙂 btw do u have any idea what comes in the interview and the bench test? Im trying to frantically get as much info as possible! 🙂

Hey Everyone,

Does having a GC or being a citizen really adds a credit on calling for the IV's?
 
It does not matter when you applied. What you show on your skill assessment is the MOST important part. Next one one is your interview with faculty members. If you do not get a call from Barbara on Monday following your interview, you are not accepted. Good luck guys! I know how that feels, I've gone through this.

THANK YOU Nordsimargl...for the info. But I am not hearing anything from Barbara for the IV'S . should I give up? Its been 3 weeks that I applied.

I'm pretty sure it did not work out this time. I'd say, 99% for that you will receive a letter of rejection from them in December. Anyway, don't give up and keep on trying. Get you Kilgore typodont, handpiece, find a place to work on your preps and go talk to those accepted, say in May. Ask them about specific requirements for preps.

logically, i think 80-90% of people get a rejection anyways, no? if we look at the applicant to seats ratio... so hopefully there are still some interviews being sent out and best of luck to everyone! stay positive 🙂
 
So at the interview with the faculty members, are we asked general questions or Qs related to dental subject knowledge?

anyone knows the latest updates of SA? today must be the last batch being interviewed...how many seats are left,,,any idea anyone? n wen will they post rejection letters?

I dont think there are any more interviews...the last batch has been interviewed last week....they just need to come out with their final results...so hopefully by friday 14th, they will mail acceptances n rejections n maybe waiting list options

Whence did you know that they will declare the status of applicants in the 14th?
 
Have anyone received any email from Barbra today?! I don't know why people keep putting false information ! Anyways, if any one got accepted please post here and let's know how long after the IV did u receive the acceptance, good luck all.

I dont know..I am guessing and taking the bit of info that deep100 shared. Yes, there are 5 people in SA group but I am sure there are many more admits. No correspondence from Barbara either.
 
I agree with redzone555... There must be more admits than those that joined the group so far :s its just a hunch though I obviously dont know for sure. Did anyone try emailing/calling barbara? If they're supposed to post acceptances/rejections on 14th im sure someone from us will hear from them in a day or two.
 
yes, there is a possibility of other applicants that got accepted and not on the FB group. However, what I meant is the ones on FB group are on sdn and they are not sharing any information yet..
