UTSW Dallas vs. Austin

Are these programs joined or affiliated with each other (UTSW Dallas vs. Austin)? Or are they completely separate entities? For those who know the ins and outs of the two programs, how does one compare to the other? Thanks for any advice 🙂. I'm from the East coast and a little confused about the two!

They are separate. You can see the history of the Austin program here: http://www.austingme.com/residency-...ef-history-of-dermatology-education-in-austin. UTSW is only a "sponsor" of the Austin program, and according to the link it will transition to UT-Austin in 2015.
