bump. Believe me, I would be happy to stop posting in this thread- it'd mean I have an acceptance at UVM. I'm bumping because I'm still interested to know when this waitlist moves.

Anyhoo, I am super anxious also. I have written three letters since I got waitlisted and even went so far as to title my last one: Love Letters to UVM. Still: WAITLIST. Ouch babe, very ouch. (Spoken in Austin Powers voice.)

Same deal here, calls and letters, still waiting for some movement! When you guys write, have you been sending by email or snail mail? Both?

I sent an email with a letter of interest a couple weeks after I got waitlisted. Spent 1 month and 8 days on the waitlist. I really don't understand their system.

Has anyone been pulled off the UVM waitlist recently????? Does anyone know if there's a lot of movement after May 15th on their waitlist or is it sporadic movement until August?

I haven't heard anything from them recently, but judging from last year it seems like there is a flurry of activity on or right after May 15, and then people come off sporadically until classes start. I am seriously looking forward to mid May!

I interviewed on one of the last (if not the last) days, and if memory serves me they said that there was an adcom meeting on 4/24 (today, actually), and that we should check the website tonight or tomorrow as something would probably be posted. Might or might not make a difference for waitlisted folk, I'm not sure.
