We'll be very happy to join you guys this year. I can already see all of us sharing notes, helping each other with the standard patients, crying out on each other's shoulders during the leadership skill sessions and doing a pub crawl in downtown Burlington (they got some good pubs there-the medical students I met with during my interview took me to two of them!!!). Whatever the result of this process, I want to tell you that I enjoyed the camraderie everyone showed on this thread.

For the entering class, I wish you all the best. Help each other! Our society needs each and everyone of you. Get as much sleep as you can before school starts - August 8(?) !!!! Never... Never... Never... lose sight of why you want to be a doctor. Listen to your patients. And Stay compassionate!

hey guys i just wanted to tell you that i just got accepted to suny downstate..im goin there cause its my state school and cheaper, which means im withdrawing from uvm. it was a tough choice. i really liked uvm but in the end it came downs to the tuition..anyways, i talked to ms. delaney and she said she would be most likely be makin a call to someone tomorrow. i hope eena or st.pius get the spot..good luck

called today and still not very much movement at all. i'm already in AMCAS 2006 - UVM, here i come again and welcome back Ms. Mary Keefe!!
still holding my breath for eena, me, and others who are still waiting. everyone in this thread has been absolutely fabulous....i mean, we would get along so well in med. school together and make UVM proud!
who said med. students cant have fun? let this thread be a witness to those skeptics out there that we laugh, cry, get nervous, anxious, frustrated, etc....just like everyone else. we're just normal folks who happen to like to serve others medically....way to go y'all!!!! 😎
