Ok so the explanation makes sense, everything makes sense, but
WHERE in the question are they referring to the tissue or the lung?
Yes if it was the tissue , O2 is released, in the lungs H+ is released, but the question stem doesn't specify which location they are trying to ask - I would automatically just assume they are asking about the tissues?
 
Correct me if I am wrong but I believe you are supposed to assume it based on the disassociation curve. Because the only place you will get that type of saturation from point 1 to 2 is in the lung you assume it is the lung. No other tissue would saturate the blood with that much oxygen. Does that help?
 
How can you find out the number of a question on UW? or is it on the JPEG's?
