wow totally bombed on the neuro pharm section...like none of the stuff in uworld was in FA or even in my lecture notes for class wtf LOL...are these obscure pharm correlates in UWorld the approach the real Step uses because there are a bazillion ways to test ur understanding of drugs and their interactions that may not be directly state in FA or even taught in class 🙁

I'm currently going over Uworld neuro.. It does have information not in first aid so we have to annotate it in FA. It takes me a 2 days to go over the entire 46 questions explanation from Uworld. I don't understand how people can go through these explanation so fast? I take notes on them and then understand/memorize the new information and then test myself the next day. But this is the only way I'm able to do it thoroughly. This is really depressing me as I should have been able to do 3-4 blocks per day like others.

I have to get back to those questions now...

Good luck

yeah i guess this makes me really ask the question...of those new additional stuff from UW annotated onto FA for any subject...how much of that information do you tend to see appear on the actual exam identically?

UWorld's goal isn't to give you 2200 questions that you're likely to see on Step 1. It's trying to expose you to every testable concept it can, however random or rare. That's a lot of why people tend to say that the real thing is easier than UWorld; the real thing isn't comprised solely of the rare diseases or the obscure presentations.

I got my score back last week - 186 on step 1. Weakest areas - micro and pharm. I did KISSPharm (kisspharm.com) its only 10 hours or so for pharm and my pharm score on nbme form 11 was finally way above average. i think you should check out that for pharm, but my micro is still horrible. also, my biostats is embarrassing. any tips?
