When is the appropriate time to start uworld? I have been doing other questions (pretest, kaplan, lange) and want to save uworld till 3-4 months out from my exam, good idea?

Start Uworld as soon as possible, stop messing around with other resources.
The Explanations are waaay longer than the step 1 explanation, and every question has average 1-2 tables and pictures and all sort of thing you need to understand. It took me 3 month to finish the UW. by doing 1 Block/Day..
Go for the money, why wait? Do it again in 1-2 weeks before the actual exam in case you want it as close as possible to the real thing.

3 weeks of studying is enough. There is more to medical school than step exams.
