UWSA compared to step 3 exam

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Passages are much longer in the real thing than UWSA or UW Q bank. I felt that the real thing was much more difficult as well.

It seems like a lot of people are saying this test was really hard. I had always heard this test was sort of a joke. Is the test considered hard because people haven't had months to study for it like step 1 or 2 ? I think the stats show that 97% of us grads pass on the first attempt and this forum has been full of people who have only done half of the qbank and still got in like the 220's

I haven't taken it yet, but the test is considered easy since you only really need a passing grade. You don't have to do super well.

just gave my exam last week.
like most people are saying on the forums, I did find first day very tough compared to 2nd day. MCQs were long and some short. Too many drug ads and abstracts on first day didnt even bother reading them due to lack of time.
CCS cases majority were straightforward and some I screwed up literally.
Also did anyone find the cases ending abruptly even before getting the pt update if they were improving or not?

That third block was brutal. I felt like a lot of the questions were poorly worded, ambiguous, or just generally asinine. If you'll notice the average for that block is also like 34%.
