Vander. It's short and sweet and covers renal front to back in a pretty straight forward manner.

That said, I was able to get more pages of notes than there are pages in Vander, so I guess maybe it's also got a bit of density to it.
 
It really depends on your personal style. I'll second that Vander is straightforward but a tad dense. It's all in there, though, and I found it very helpful once I had already digested our lecture material. RS is just like the rest of the series, either that style works for you or it doesn't.
