That's my bad, I just figured that to be rejected with great stats like that, you probably went to a state school. It's just been my experience that Vandy doesn't like folks from the public system

Hm...I don't think this statement is entirely correct. 🙄

I am from a state school and my student host there was from a state school, too. I am accepted to Vandy and my student host even got a full ride at Vandy...

Does anyone know if Vandy waitlists nearly everyone post-interview? Or have there been some rejections post-interview? I got my waitlist letter last week and am wondering if that is a sign to be optimistic about or if it is just the status quo for non-accepted post-interview applicants.

I think they waitlist a lot. Also last year not many people at all got in off the waitlist. good luck.

So I got a Vandy interview, and have to do the stinkin 2000 word autobiography...

Here's the autobiography as written less than 24 hours after getting dumped by the guy I had been dating for over a year TOTALLY OUT OF THE BLUE:

Hi, I'm 21 years old and totally worthless. I will never be good enough for anyone. The end.

Think it will get me in?
