VCOM(virginia) vs NYITCOM(long island)

I have family in NY but want to know if VCOM is a better school in your opinions that NYITCOM and what the pros and cons of each school is. The only pro of NYITCOM is that family will be relatively close. Please share your opinions on both schools and why you think that. thanks

So NYITCOM is closer to home, but VCOM is $15k cheaper per year with a lower cost of living? Flip a coin.
NYITCOM = VCOM in my opinion. No real “prestige” difference. Pick whichever you’re more interested in.

I would lean towards VCOM because the cost difference could add up to ~100k over 4 years.

I heard the attrition rate is high at nyitcom. Is that something that I have to worry about if I choose to go there?
