I know this has happened to many of you, but today I discovered that Georgetown lost my secondary. It's a good thing I called to check on my status! I'm just really pissed because their mistake is going to set me back in terms of timing. Oh well, just another bump on the road to MD.

I had a similar thing happen. I contacted a school I am very interested in by email to see why i hadn't heard anything, and the emailed response was "we sent you a postcard AND email on October 15th asking for more information. Since you did not respond, we are closing your file." I never got the email OR postcard!!! Since I've been obsessively checking my mail and email for the last 4 months, I think I would remember. Anyway, they said I could send the info with a letter explaining why it was so late, and they would reopen my file, but what's the point? It's obvious that they won't believe that I didn't get both, and at this point I'm sure it would negatively affect my application. Oh well. 🙁

Sorry to hear that, Oregon. It's ashame that they automatically assume that "they can do no wrong", and that any mistake must have been the applicant.

Doh!
I just found out that Tulane never got my secondary, and I sent it in October. I guess I should have checked instead of waiting for their email.
Hmmm, now I'm debating whether I should resend it at all... its soo late, I was hoping to be done with interviews by now...
