hi guys
These terms keep popping up everywhere and i still dont know them.
can you come up with a list of terms that describe relative location of things?

posterior
anterior
ventral
distal
dorsal

They come in pairs:

anterior/posterior: anterior is towards the head, posterior is towards the rear end

dorsal/ventral: dorsal is the back, ventral is your front/stomach

distal/proximal: this is in regards to limb extensions from the main body like your arms. distal is farthest from the body like the tips of your fingers, proximal is close to your main body i.e. your elbow is more proximal than your fingertips

Here's an image to put it into context:

its missing distal/proximal, but think of the chest/stomach as the main body so distal/proximal applies to the limbs- the four legs. The further away from the body you move, the more distal you are (so the nails are the most distal). Proximal is the opposite
