Hi everyone,

I'm new to this board so hopefully I'm posting this in the right section.

I have a question of all you...

Did anyone find that there verbal score decreased when they started doing the verbal passages online? I'm kind of getting scared bc my mcat is in Tuesday and up until now I have been doing practice exams and verbal passages on paper. My verbal score starting was 6...I did many practice questions from every resource possible and have pulled it up to about 10.

Today I did an actual cbt aamc test (#10) and I got a 5. Let's just say I wanted to cry. My other scores 10PS and 10BS...these 2 I think I can swing a bit higher...ran out of time on PS and need to review a little more orgo as that's my weak spot.

I had done one verbal test online a weeks ago and my score was low also.

Anyone have this issue? Any suggestions to what I can do?

Thanks in advance!

Take all of the AAMC FL exams.

This is the best practice to get a feel for the format.

Thanks so much! That's all I can do I guess....I just don't understand how it threw me off so much! I'm just going to do practice tests now until the day of the exam!

i do all my studying from a computer, so adapting to the CBT wasn't too difficult.

although, the resolution of the computers at the test centers isn't very high which may give the impression of longer passages.

you can find mcat materials in pdf's online, that can be good practice for taking a test on the computer.
