Hi,
I'm just wondering how similar are the EK verbal 101 to the AAMC exams for those that took the MCAT or even the practice MCAT? For EK, i find myself constantly looking back at the details, but I've heard on the real deal that I should just focus on the author's purpose and the "big picture" . In effect, I loose out on time and hence points and earn very inconsistent scores (ie: 4,6,5,7,4). If anyone has any pointers on how to fix this, please do share. I'm very confused on how to change my "strategy" or wondering how long it takes to see improvements in my verbal score. I notice that I extract the wrong conclusion form the passages sometimes). I mean i've been mapping out the passage, because it helps me to retain information because I can't seem to "mentally" retain the info in the passage.
