AMCAS said online that it may take up to 6 weeks to be verified. It shouldn't take longer than 6 weeks right? I won't be ready to submit my AMCAS for verification until late August, I just want to know my worse case scenario.

More importantly, is there is a reason you won't be ready to submit until then? Let's say you submit last week of august and don't get verified until the end of September (being generous). This means schools won't begin reviewing your secondaries until early to mid October, which is pretty late for the MD cycle, especially if your stats aren't the best.

I am only applying to one school this cycle and I am 100% certain that they are non-rolling. But they do have an October 15 deadline.

Have you already taken the MCAT?

According to their twitter, they're just now reviewing applications submitted July 2nd. That's where it stands now anyway.

No, that's why I am putting off working on my PS and application.

Actually, my bad, it doesn't matter. You can submit your primary without your MCAT score and AMCAS will still process and verify your application.

If you haven't taken the MCAT yet, it will be a month before that score is released. hopefully you are taking it soon otherwise even when you submit your application won't be complete until it is. Really though, why wouldn't you work on your PS and application right now so that it is done? Even if you decide not to submit this year, you can use most of that information in a future year.

But they do have an October 15 deadline.
For a primary or secondary. If the former, that normally means the date you submitted to AMCAS by (although, submitting on Oct. 15th would probably not be a good idea).

It seems that they are going faster this year than last year. According to the verification thread, it only takes 23 days to get verified at this point in time. I doubt it will take longer than 35 days to get verified if you submit it in August.
