Has anyone had their transcripts verified yet? My first one from one school, was received on June 2, and the other received on June 8, but neither of them have been verified yet... Has this happened to anyone else too?
 
When did you submit your application...? It's going to take a few weeks for them to be verified, so no need to panic.

AADSAS won't verify your transcript until you submit your application and make the payment.
 
I'm posting this to help, please no one unnecessarily panic when they see this lol!
I'd expect yours soon.... My school sent off my transcript June 2, AADSAS received June 7, and verified today, June 14.
Like the above have said, they won't verify until you submit (if you haven't yet), and, from what I've read in the past, I'm shocked that mine happened so quickly. If you read through the many AADSAS related threads, you'll see that most people are still waiting for verification. Plus you're still super super early! It just takes time.

Fak. I got an email saying my school sent my transcripts to the ADEA on the 2nd of June. They still haven't even received it!! I called them and said they have a lot of submittions now are being "backed up". I submitted on June 9th, because of my Rec letters. Do people think I should wait a few more days and then tell the school to send my transcripts again? I don't know why it's taking so faking long and it's pissing me off.

Holy same here. I sent June 2nd still haven't received. Albeit I'm from Canada but I don't live that far from the offices for it to take this long.
 
again, not outside the normal time frame. i just posted this in the main sticky thread for status of applications:

"I talked to AADSAS and you don't need to worry (yet). I sent mine 06/02 and the school actually mailed them 06/05. I was a little worried so I called AADSAS but they told me to wait. They were received 06/13.
This is the timeline you should expect (it could be shorter if you're lucky but you could also be at the limit of the time frame):
5-7 business days after your transcript is mailed (call your school and find out the exact mailing date)
3-10 business days for AADSAS to process/receive your transcripts.

If you do the math, you should be okay until mid next week. At that point you could start to think of something to do.
I would call AADSAS if yuou're really worried but they won't be able to do much. It is quite rare that the transcript is lost if AADSAS actually receives it so I wouldn't worry."
 
you could send another transcript just to be safe. I would probably definitely feel safer but it just costs extra and most likely AADSAS will process the one you sent earlier in the next few days.
 
Just got the email my transcript was received and processed!
 
@fit2 When you say verified, like you submitted you AADSAS app and they verified you classes and GPA, and now you can see the many GPA's AADSAS complies? If so, that is super fast

No no I meant they confirmed that they received them but they are in the process of verifying them. This could take up to a month. Ive seen some people in the last cycle who had their GPA verified a week after 6/15 and other people with the same dates of submission etc. that didn't have their GPA checked till like 7/10. So it really depends..but again I wouldn't be worried about it. Sure I'd like to be first batch just to say that I was but it probably isn't any different from like batches 2-5

Ohhh ok.. i was starting to worry thinking you already had it verified. But now that you explained it, i'm not too worried. AADSAS received my transcripts on 6/8 and i submitted on 6/11. So they are in the process of verifying. Thank you for the update
 
Hey everyone, I got an email saying my transcript has been verified. I submitted my app on Sunday June 11. Just 5 days ago, and they already verified them. I can't believe it got done so fast. My friend submitted on June 1st and still hasn't been verified.

Anyone else got their transcripts verified? Just wondering if any other people received something today.


P.S. they literally have like 30 GPA calculations. I mean it's crazy. they dissect your entire transcript into so many categories.

wait really? so is there a cover sheet that lists all ur GPA's? that's awesome you're lucky! literarily. I've seen people submit earlier and have to wait longer. but in the end if you submit early you're good whether you're like 1 week earlier or 1 week later.
Also, i find it almost silly that AADSAS has so many GPA's...like how is a GPA that included only chem classes or a GPA without any humanities class or smth along those lines going to make you a more competent applicant? it's silly IMO

Ya, i got the email this morning. ABout the coversheet, i've been reading on SDN that they might not have a coversheet this cycle. only schools will receive the coversheet. But on the top right corner of the page it says application verified.

And yeah, i don't get how many ways a GPA can be broken down. I was expecting like 4 or 5 GPA's until I saw a page and half full of GPA calculations lol.

Where did you see your gpa calculations? Mine is verified but I don't know where to go to view that. @chicagodentist123

EDIT: Nvm. Found it.
