Verifying PT Observation Hours?

Hey everyone!

I am confused about verifying PT hours. After narrowing down the list of schools I am interested in applying to, none of them actually require verification of my hours by a PT. Is this something that is an "unspoken rule" that I should still get them verified anyways? Is someone who doesn't have theirs verified help to the same prestige as someone who did?

I don't think those schools will care if you get them verified. If it's not required, I wouldn't go through the process to verify them. If there was an unspoken rule, then the schools would just say that they want them verified.
