Vet School Dress Code

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Is it wrong that an enforced dress code beyond "don't dress like a stripper" was an immediate exclusion criteria when I was deciding which schools to apply to?

which schools were those??? sounds like my kind of school. if i had the perfect bod i'd love to dress like a stripper, but since i don't there's no need for me to worry about the dress code.

Me, too 🙂. If I had it, I'd totally flaunt it.

It's probably better this way...

Lynda, if you do that, you have to do the hair, too.

LOL...not sure about the hair though, but I'll do the makeup!!! Hey BlacKAT: I love Seth Aaron too!!!!!! He needs to start designing scrubs!

Ah, the joys of entering a profession dominated by women! 😉 😛

Primal, here's one for you. You might have to grow your hair out and try a bit harder to be a total badass, but I think you can make it work.

If you "ladies" start wearing designer scrubs.....I'm going back to finance.
Rather see the cut and the lady before changing fields. This could be one change for the good!

haaaaaaaahahaha, i forgot about those. they're called bosozoku. back in the day when they were much more popular, they were all over the place. they're still pretty popular in pop culture, and comedians like to incorporate the all the time.

wiki excerpt: Japanese police call them Maru-Sō (police code マル&#36208😉, and dispatch a police vehicle to trail any groups of bikes to prevent any possible incidents, which can include riding through suburbs at speeds of 5–10 miles an hour, creating a loud disturbance and waving imperial Japanese flags, to starting fights which can include weapons such as wooden swords, metal pipes, baseball bats and Molotov cocktails.

Hopeful, all the ladies going on the VIDA trip are certifiably hott. You should totally scrounge for the funds to go - bruinvetman can't have all the fun.
Not so much the funds. I could sell stock if I was able to go. It's just that the timeline conflicts with orientation/first couple days, soo I guess bruin will just have to have my share of fun.
