Click-to-move games are bad

Lol so you're saying you're not into runescape. Luls. The only reason it got popular is because it was really the only moba out when esports were taking off. Starcraft 2 waste as good as the first so they chose LoL

I spent most of my summers before undergrad gaming. The main reason I don't play videogames during school is not the lack of time, but the fact that after a long day id rather sit back and watch a movie than be proactive and have to make decisions and survive in videogames.

I thought I was the only one! I am too tired and lazy throughout the school year to play games...I can only play something mind numbing like 2k or madden...

Haha glad I'm not the only one. There's also the added work of leaving your room to wherever the console is and actually set it up.

Y'all have some good taste in videogames. I havent started school yet so ive been on the fence about whether or not i want to invest in any new games until i get my routine down for school.

Considering gettin destiny 2 when it comes out, but i dont have a solid raid squad so i always end up burning 3-5hrs every time i sat down to play.

Extremely tempted to buy Legend of Zelda BoW, but im trying to avoid that temptation until either prices go down for the switch or a new super smash bros comes out and ill be forced to get it lol.

Currently playing a bit of LoL on and off, im not super crazy about it but my friends play so ill hop in on a game every now and then.

Also currently loving clash royale, i can get into mobile gaming from time to time.

I started Witcher 3 and only got through all the cutscenes and tutorial, but worried I won't like that type of gameplay at all. But I'm hoping for a new single player RPG since Fallout 4 was so disappointing in its RPG elements and weapons.

Need to play all the games I can before school starts! Looking into Nier: Automata and P5, maybe FF15...

Still grinding comp in overwatch😛

Mass Effect Trilogy is brilliant. MEA has its downsides but overall I thought it was still okay. Dragon Age series are fine, too.

I just fight everything. As a result I'm pretty over leveled. But yeah, they're super fast and annoying.

Still trying to break out of silver on OW. They really need to worsen the leave penalties. My soul is dying as my SR stays the same.

!!!

Assuming you have a decent competency of character mechanics, I have the following recommendations:

1) group with your team, do NOT stagger. Wait by spawn.

2) save your ultimate until your team has ultimate.

3) remember the name of the game. The Objective. Force overtime even if it means dying. Consistently in low elo enemy teams get a "free" cap or "contest" without your knowing. If you are past 94% in a capture game, play up and prevent enemies from entering the zone.

4)If possible, focus damage on healers and DPS.

5) learn ALL characters. It is imperative that you understand their strengths and weaknesses, cooldowns and ultimates. AKA dont stand on ledge near lucio, dont shoot a zarya with shield up.

6) watch informative streams on twitch.tv

Thanks for the tips!
I've been playing since release, and follow all of them. I feel pretty competent with most characters and aim to fill gaps/counter heroes when needed, but the lack of communication (mics) and constant leaving is so frustrating. It's like I'm spinning my wheels.
I just need to get a group to play with, I think that would solve most problems.

I agree, communication is important when one teammate knows something very important that another doesn't. (Enemy mcree flanking with ult, healer getting attacked by tracer).

Although I sympathize with you on this, remember that what will carry you out of your current rank will not be how well you educate or micromanage your teammates each game; It WILL come down to how well you do your best to analyze your position in the game and how you can maximize YOUR utility in helping to get the W.

Play the Hearts of Stone DLC for Witcher 3, story is better than most games. Best DLC ever, these days you can get the game of the year edition for $20-$30.

Since there's so many witcher fans.. anybody playing Gwent? Never gotten into a CCG before but it's actually really good. Feels like there's a lot of strategy, don't have to spend money because they pair you against people with similar stats so if you're a broke-boi you only play against other broke-bois. Like 5-10 new cards as daily rewards so you can make new decks. I've been playing a few rounds a day lately. Pretty fun for a free to play.
