Well, the fact that it is in Portland, OR is a great plus in my book. I went to High School near Portland and I think it is a great place to live. Also, the last time I looked, OHSU was ranked #2 in primary care which says alot about their clinical training. Finally, while OHSU probably still claims that it is a state school, much of their state funding has been reallocated, forcing them to seek for more out-of-state applicants to cover the costs of their program. This fact gives us non-residents a better shot at it. To compare it to other schools is difficult....I think it is difficult to compare most schools unless you get into the details of their curriculum and their involvement in research and other such things.
