Would like to help but don't know really! Most people here on SDN are already in the US.I personally feel people who are doing internship have a better chance of getting the visa because they can at least show that they have a reason to return and get their degree.Once a person has completed his education what solid reason can you show for returning back to your country?Again, this is my view.Maybe you should post on some immigration forums.

One of my friends got his visa during his internship. It all depends on how well you present yourself and answer the VO's questions and show him that you will go back to your home country no matter what(even if its clearing the exam) Show proof like your job letter/your family proof/property etc. Rest-luck definitely plays a role! Good luck.

Why are you upset BEFORE even applying for your visa....as said before present your case strong and hope that they grant you one

Besides, hiring the services of immigration consultants may be of use if you are not so sure about getting one yourself coz there is alot of paperwork involved generally...

So all said and done be positive, get your papers in order, think of how you want to answer any questions they may ask and provide relevant documents...

besta luck! cheers!!

Good luck! If you are thinking of mentioning the exam, register for the exam and have a print out of it for the visa officer to see.

I live in the USA but have been trying to get a Canadian visa. I started in 2008, and no success but I didn't give up. I took the NDEB passed and reapply for admission as a dentist and it looks like things may finally get approved. From friends that came from other countries it seems like they all did it via school as an international student and then were able to work as a student, this increased their chances of getting a work visa later on. I heard people who just applied for the work visa get rejected all the time.
