Hey guys,

I plan on applying to basically of the pod schools in the US this fall and I was wondering if they expect students that are applying to visit their school before applying (go on a tour, meet with an advisor, etc) Luckily there is a pod school within an hour of my house that I was able to visit and I felt like it was pretty positive. If I am applying to several schools should I visit them? Should I visit my top choices? Thanks

Unless your full of money, it's not really worth it. I visited 3 schools before applying, but that was due to internships + being close to home. I don't think it had any impact on being admitted. Visiting beforehand like a copy of the interview day and it's a bit boring to get the same tour 2x.

It is definitely not expected for a pro-spective student to visit prior to applying. If you get an interview you will then be expected to visit the school for the interview.

Visiting prior to applying will most likely not weigh in on whether or not you get an interview.
