hey everyone,

i'm doing an away elective at Stanford and was wondering if anyone had experience with subletting a place for a month. Is there an email address/list serve email address that I can use to send everyone at Stanford medical whether they have a room they wish to sublet? is there a student dorm for med students? i checked the website and the housing situation at Stanford seems a bit do-it-yourself, and most places that advertise in the local paper websites only want ppl who want to rent for a year or so. nothing on one month sublets.

Contact Zera Murphy, who's the Director of Student Life (silly title, but she's really amazing). She can give you tips, and also will forward a sublet request email to the med students for you.

BTW, out of curiosity, which elective will you be doing?

btw, are you in the IM program at Stanford? How is it? how many categoricals are there? i really want to try to get in!

btw, if you are at SU, are there residents who short-track into fellowship there?
