VMCAS Deadline Extended to October 3, 12:00 P.M (Noon), ET
The internet service provider for the Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) had technical problems that impaired its service to the AAVMC and other clients in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Friday and over the weekend. This technical issue negatively impacted VMCAS application systems--- periods of slow response time and application downtime.
In recognition of the inconveniences that this situation created for applicants, the VMCAS deadline has been extended to October 3, at 12:00 P.M. (noon), ET.
The VMCAS deadline extension will not impact the existing vet school deadlines----vet school deadlines will remain the same.
I sincerely regret the inconvenience and stress that this situation created for all that were working on your application over the past four days. Should you have questions about this matter, please feel free to contact the VMCAS Student and Advisor Hotline (877-862-2740) or me.
Regards, John
