Please forgive me if I am asking a question that has already been addressed, but I rarely come around to SDN and do not have the time to search through threads for a possible answer.

I was just wondering which format everyone was using for their description of duties. I have been using a 'resume style' format, but I am concerned that this may be incorrect, since it is incomplete sentences and if I should consider using paragraph format instead.

Any thoughts/advice?

Thanks.

lose the 'tude. if everyone else can do a 5 min search, i'm sure you can too. or if you suck at doing searches, then ask nicely for someone awesome like TT to search for you. seriously, it'll take much less time to do that search than for you to respond and justify your original statement.

Wow. I mean, I'm particularly guilty of asking TT to find things for me (more than most people here), but usually I at least TRY first.

Do you usually find it an effective approach to tell people you're too busy to do the work for yourself and could they please just do it for you?

when i applied, admissions told me that the bullet point system was what they preferred because it was easy to pick things out. also, saves a considerable amount in the character count!

hi kanariya,

There really is not "correct" method of formatting your duties. The Veterinary Schools are varied in many aspects of the VMCAS application, and as long as I've been here, there has been no standards placed on formatting of the experience duties across the board.
