Hey everyone!

I was just reading a thread about putting down dissections, and so kind of along the same line, I was thinking about the necropsies we did this year at the APVMA National Symposium. Is anyone planning on listing these, and if so, how? They were supervised by veterinarians... but just not sure if I can fill that in under veterinary experience. Thanks!

For previous symposiums, I just did a vet-experience entry for each individual symposium and then listed the individual wet labs (and lectures) I attended, talked about what we did in each one and checked the relevant boxes for type of experience: food animal, exotics, etc.

Edit to add: since they are taught by vets, I see no problem with listing them as vet experience. If your wet lab was a tour led by students or something, that would be different, but this should be no different than if you performed a necropsy with a vet in your clinic or something.

i did the swine necropsy lab with fetal pigs at the 2009 APVMA symposium and i for sure put that down as veterinary experience on my app. i didn't include the lectures or anything, but i know of a lot of people that did, and i think it's 100% ok to do so.
