Volunteer Hours on Application

Hey guys,

I had kind of a dumb question about AMCAS and volunteer hours. For one of my clinical activities, I have 150 hours but I am getting 50 more hours to get my total hour count to 200 hours by the end of this month. Unfortunately, even though I have completed my shifts my hours will not be added to the hospital's system until June 14th which is the end of the quarter. If I submit my app early to get verified, I just wanted to make sure that I can write down that I have completed 200 hours on my app even though it won't be in the hospitals system until June 14th?

Yes. AMCAS does not verify activities, only grades/MCAT

Med schools won't receive any verified applications until the end of June, so they won't see your application to be able to check on your activities until after your hours are in the system of your volunteer site.
