Volunteering dentist

Hello.
I would like to ask you like an international dental student who wants to continue his education in the US and get license there after graduationin my home country is it a good idea to go in Egypt through AIESEC and volunteering there for 45 days in dental clinic, and get a certificate for that?
And will that improve my application profile and increase a lot my chances of entering in a dental school for the 2 year program ??
Also can I go for internship or volunteering or shadowing to some US dentist ?

If you are a trained dental assistant, then you might be useful , otherwise majority of dentists will consider you a nuisance in their office disturbing the routine
In any case. Contact local dental society and ask for volunteering opportunities
