Hi guys, this might be a silly question, would khakis and an oxford cloth button down be appropriate for a hospital volunteering interview? I can't help but think that a suit would be too much.

Thanks

Hospital volunteering interviews have been quite casual in my experience, I'm sure you'll be fine with what you're planning on wearing

lol at wearing a suit to a volunteering interview.

I wore a shirt and slacks to mine which I think was fine.

I just had a volunteering interview yesterday! It was the most casual experience of my life. I could have worn my yoga pants they wouldn't have cared but I wore interview clothes anyway because I like dressing up and wearing heals 😀
I don't think she knew what to make of me though and did laugh a little at my clothing decision but it's just volunteering and whatevs.

I wouldn't wear a suit and I'm overdressed for everything.

It's way too hot here in FL for me to wear anything other than shorts to a volunteering interview. I've already been to some (hospital, nursing home) and nobody seemed to have any issues with it. It's not like I'm interviewing for a job at the mall.

I wore a sleeveless tank, shorts and sandals. It was a hot day. 😎
