it's really not about what looks good or impressive...it's about what YOU want to do because ultimately when you're interviewing you want to say what you got out of the experience and to be able to do that i think you should really like what you have done...i have asked admissions ppl if it "looks good" to have things like research, volunteering etc. but they have told me that its what you've learned from the experiences that matter because that's where they see your passion for medicine...if you keep doing what is 'impressive" you might end up miserable...and honestly asking such a question loses sight of the drive to go into medicine...admissions has also said in response to questions such as this: "the goal is to become a practicing physician not to get into medical school" Believe me, they will like what ever you choose!
