Yeah...while they're at it...they better make sure diabetic patients check with pharmacy if they can eat the candies in the isle...and CHF patients better check if the sodium content in the junk food section is kosher.. oh don't they sell pickles too? And better make sure all the beauty and fashion product doesn't cause hypersensitivity etc...

Walgreens used to sell alcohol, but previously phased it out. If you go into some of the older stores, you can tell where they had the alcohol section.

I just bought a 3 bottles of wine for $30 gift basket from Walgreens a couple of months ago, they even sell beer here already.

I think it depends on local laws, but in Arizona and New Mexico they sold beer, wine and hard liquor.

Some Walgreen stores have been selling alcohol for years. This isn't that huge of news. (depending on state laws of course)

About 10 years ago or so, they decided to start cutting back on store alcohol sales because of *the public reason* to promote healthcare and *the internal reason* they weren't making that much money off of alcohol sales.

The pharmacies in West Virginia all sell beer. Hell, liquor, too. The Rite Aid in the Westover section of Morgantown touts its great liquor selection in local ads. Go to the right one in the holler, and you might find some jugs of 'shine.

Of course, I live in America's Third World...

I worked at a WAG in AZ with a HUGE liquor dept. I used to get "customer service" award every 6 months or so in the form of a 25$ gift card...........beer money 😀
