Just got put on hold/waitlist for three schools today. Let's try to keep each other sane for a very long cycle

It's still very early! The fact that you've already had interviews, 3 of which were early enough to get decisions recently, makes me think that you'll end up ok.

Man I'm in the same boat as you. I have four more interviews but I'm beginning to think I'm doing something wrong in my interviews. I was hoping for one acceptance but beggars can be choosers.

I have 3 that I haven't heard from and 3 more left. I can't shoot 0/9 right?

I'm sure you'll get at least one. This whole process has been a nightmare so far. I can't imagine getting waitlisted at all seven schools but I'm sure it has happened before. I thought my interviews went well too :/ I guess feelings aren't good predictors

the school pretty much tells us we're on an alternative list or on hold via status update or e-mail, possibly even through snail mail

Comparing a waitlist to a hold is like comparing professional to AAA. Not even close.

1 deferred, 1 hold, 1 alternate list, waiting on 3 post-interview decisions, and 4 interviews left to attend ( 2 are DO)

Is it possible to be rejected at 10 schools post-interview, or will I be setting some new kind of record?
