Sooo yesterday wasn’t the happiest of days for me. I couldn’t help but scroll on FB and SDN and seeing everyone get multiple acceptances, was def pretty emotional. Has anyone else been only waitlisted yesterday from their pre dec interviews? Any words of encouragement or success stories? Will be appreciated 🙂
 
Hang in there! Things are very dynamic during the next couple of months...many people will be getting off of waitlists and there will be more schools offering seats!
 
4 WL and 0 acceptances here. It is absolutely demoralizing. It feels completely out of my control and has left me wondering where it all went wrong! Whether or not they turn into acceptances, this is truly a test of grit and resilience that we have to get through!

I'm right there with you man. My in-state only waitlisted like 25 kids out of 150 interviewed and all I can think about is all of the interview questions and my responses over and over again wondering what I said or did that swung me so low on their list 🙁

Your in state is Ohio right? Their entering class is 110 so I'd say you've got a pretty good shot.

Yeah man. It was/ still is my top choice. They interview like 140 in state and accept like 120 off the bat (110 in-state class size, 10 extra to account for people that turn down the offer). Regardless whether they accept me or not, I just can't stop thinking about what I said that turned them off so hard. Being considered one of the bottom 15% really hurts.

Thank you for the support though. Hoping there is some movement in the beginning of January so I can stop stressing!:depressed:

Thanks my man, I really hope so! haha It's been fun going through the whole process with you and a couple of the other guys that post on here frequently. Hope everything's been going well on your end! Wish you nothing but the best!
