I have just been told that I have been waitlisted at UNLV. Any idea on what my chances are of still getting in there? Anyone else been waitlisted at UNLV?

When did you apply? I called yesterday and I was told no decision has been made on my file. I interviewed February 2nd. I'm not a resident of Nevada either. As for getting off the waitlist, it just depends where you are on the list. I think there comes a time when a few seats start opening up during the months of May and June. Good luck. I know I'm hoping to get in to UNLV.

I also interviewed on Feb. 2nd. Im not from Nevada and I was a bit late getting my application complete. I called on monday the 6th in the afternoon and was told that I had been placed on the waitlist. I'm hoping I am high on that waitlist, because I would like to go to UNLV.

I just called the admissions office and whoever answeres the phone there told me I was on the alternate list. I later got an email also telling me that I made alternate status. And thanks to all those who are opening up spots. I am grateful.

I was put on the alternate list there as well. I'm still headed to Pitt, so another spot will be opened.

I talked to Kimberly today, and she was saying that all the spots are full and all the interviews from today on will for the waitlisting. I feel bad for those poor souls though. Good luck.

One of those poor souls is me..I have an alternate list interview (!!!!) which I got it on December (very strange) end of March. I am not sure whether I should go or not since I am still waiting to hear from other places..I hate all this waitings..
