PLAN TO SPEED UP WAITLIST MOVEMENT!!
Okay, it's been 6 days since this club's started. While the others are putting their energies into what schools they will be going, we shouldn't waste all our energies waiting and stressing out!! We gotta do something to increase our chances of getting off the waitlist or at least speed up this wrenching processes...
Here's what I propose: we write an appeal to those who have multiple acceptances and post it in a thread to persuade the applicants to withdraw from all the schools they know they won't be attending. True that some applicants are waiting for financial packets but I'm sure many more are just lazy in their complacency. And I am sure there are some out there that just enjoy counting their acceptance and will most likely wait till May 15th to being withdrawing. We have to target the latter 2.
Please remember one thing while you write the appeal.. they have every right to hold as many spots as they want and it is their generosity that they are withdrawing earlier than necessary, we should be thankful.
Quite frankly i suck so badly at communicating through writing (many pre interview rejections prolly do to suckekeke 2ndaries) So, I will need your help in writing this.
Our approach has to be persistent, touching, and gratifying to the applicants.
Here's my 3 step plan:
1.) we write a touching appeal (1st post)
2.) we bump it once in a while with requests for schools we want pple to withdraw  (we should pace ourselves with requests to keep the thread constantly on page 1)
3.) we should thank those who withdraw form schools they will not go to and giving us all a better chance.
I figure the longer the appeal stays on, the more impact it will be on their conscience
Feel free to make any changes/suggestions to this!
I'll start the appeal:

Suggested thread topic: Fellow applicants with multiple acceptances
Suggested appeal:
Dear applicants who have many acceptances,
Congrats on being accepted to medical school! We can only imagine how great it must be to know that you will have somewhere to go this fall. However, many of us are still waitlisted and it is agonizing… The uncertainty… it really sucks. We know that after May 15th , many of us would hopefully be pulled from the waitlist . However, every day is like an eternity for us.
We would be very thankful if you would take the time to carefully consider your acceptances and withdraw from schools that you will not attend. We know and understand that many of you are waiting for financial packets from schools, but those of you with several acceptances should be pretty sure which schools you can let go. Every school that you let go will help someone on the waitlist. The sooner you withdraw, the sooner we can plan vacations, start eating, and live normal lives again. Thank you for being understanding and thoughtful.

Update I've PMed a few of you guys. Please let me know what you think!
I've posted the thread! It started off a bit controversial but i've edited it a bit. http://www.studentdoctor.net/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=010774
Now all I need is for you to post requests of schools you hope people will beging to withdraw, keep the page bumped with requests!
