Anybody been waitlisted or on the alternate list, and does anybody know the chances of getting once you have benn waitlisted at UF

I am on Louisville's waitlist. They tell me it is "a good place to be". I figure that once the first deposit deadline is due and people start making concrete decisions on where they are going to attend dental school then spots will open up for the waitlisters to move in. I don't know how UF does it but Louisville says the list is "short and unranked". How they choose among a group of unranked applicants other than picking out of a hat is beyond me but I hope to hear from them in mid January sometime. Good luck to you.
