So, I am currently waitlisted and I am wondering when do schools usually send out other acceptances. Is it usually on a rolling basis after people turn down the school or is it on a certain day?

Louisville explained in the interview that the waitlist isn't ranked, if a spot opens up they revisit your application and look for strong applicants. It also depends on where you're from, because they want a geographically diverse class...so if someone from the northeast declines an acceptance they'll look to see if other strong applicants from the northeast are on the waitlist and still interested. I would definitely let them know that you're still interested sometime next week!

I have a question with regards to ECU. What did your wait list email say?

My stats are 21/21/21 and 3.7 sGPA/3.65 GPA. Also this what the email said;
As promised, we wanted to update you regarding the status of your application to the ECU School of Dental Medicine. We appreciate your interest in our school, and we enjoyed having the opportunity to visit with you. At this point in time, your application is currently under active review by the Admissions Committee, but a final decision has not yet been made.

A rolling admissions process, such as ours at ECU, is very dynamic, and it is important that we remain in close communication throughout the remainder of the admissions cycle. Just as you will receive information regarding the status of your application at other schools, we will continue to receive additional information about our applicants.

If you receive offers of admission from other schools, we would encourage you to consider them carefully. Should you choose to accept one of those offers, we would appreciate your notifying us, so that we can make the appropriate notations in your admissions file. However, should you receive an offer that you are seriously considering, but you still want to actively pursue admission at ECU, we would urge you to contact us to see when we might project that a final decision regarding your application could be made.

I got that same email imayemen...I interviewed in mid Oct. I haven't heard of anyone getting rejected either. So I am thinking ECU probably accepted some people and everyone else just got that "wait list" email. Hopefully in another month or so they will be extending some more offers...
