Waitlists moving on weekends?

Has anyone received calls or emails from med schools regarding med school waitlist movement on weekends? Or should we assume to forget about it until monday.

I haven't received a call or email. I bet this is very school specific and depending on how much waitlist movement that school is having.

i would expect nothing till monday at the very earliest. Maybe even not till the end of next week. Most schools wont be functioning on sat and on monday and beyond they will likely be trying to figure out who withdrew, how many spots they need to offer, ranking WLs/deciding who they like most, etc etc...

I wish they would but I highly doubt it!

It's okay, anyone on a wait list is basically having a heart attack this weekend waiting for Monday to come around

So just try to enjoy it, do something fun to distract you. Monday will be here soon! It's nothing compared to the months of waiting we have all done 👍

I received an e-mail from one of the schools I'm waitlisted at which stated they wouldn't start accepting people off the waitlist until the 2nd week of June!
