Have schools starting using waitlists? is there still hope for this cycle if I'm on 2 (Boston U + Detroit Mercy)? When is the bulk of the movement? Waiting sucks 🙁

Realistically, your chances aren't good at all at this point. The bulk of movement is when deposits are due, and seeing as we are way past this point, your only chance of admission from either school is if somebody drops their spot.

Check their respective class specific thread. Some school might send out new acceptances in waves, but at this point it should be on an individual basis.

Not a good sign at this point, but the probability isn't zero. UDM especially has a lot of WL movement. However, I would still go ahead and submit another application for the next cycle if you haven't already.

Hi, I would like to share that my friend got an acceptance, after wait-listed, 4-5 days before the first day of school at Temple Class of 2019. Another got accepted at LLU 3 days before the first day. That being say, use this information at your discretion.
